At the 2025 World Chinese Language Conference, innovation and AI took center stage. Against this backdrop, Chen Weiying, Vice Dean of the International College, delivered a thought-provoking lecture titled “From Mandarin to Modern Tech: China’s Global Engagement” to nearly 200 international students on November 19th and 21st.She framed China’s global role through technological innovation, diplomatic philosophy, and linguistic connectivity. Students from over 40 countries shared personal stories, challenging stereotypes and fostering cross-cultural dialogue. The interactive session, joined remotely via digital classrooms, highlighted how technology is making Chinese learning and cultural exchange more accessible, reinforcing language as a bridge between civilizations.
